Ji Yong Ho - Recycled Tire Creatures

Korean sculptor, Ji Yong Ho, creates gigantic mutant creatures and animal sculptures from used black tires.

The elasticity and texture of his creatures is simply amazing. The calf sculpture above reminds me of muscle anatomy drawings.

Use of recycled industrial material to create mutant creatures makes me think about the impact our industrial society and culture have over our own species´ genetic development.
